Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) supports plugin extensions. In Chinese writing scenarios, common issues include missing spaces between Chinese and English, inconsistent punctuation formatting, and manually counting characters. guozede12593312/dsh-cnwrite is a DSH plugin that provides two core tools to handle these problems.

Core Features

cn_polish

Handles Chinese typography. It automatically adds spaces between Chinese and English, converts half-width punctuation next to Chinese into full-width punctuation, unifies Chinese quotation marks to 「」, and compresses extra blank lines. Decimal points (3.14) and URLs are not affected.

cn_stats

Handles writing statistics. It provides total word count, Chinese character count, English word count, paragraph count, sentence count, and estimated reading time.

Security and Implementation

Pure local text computation: no network access, no file reading, no credentials touched, and no API keys required. The plugin makes no network requests. The core logic is in lib.js (about 100 lines of pure functions). Pure JavaScript, no build step.

Installation

Install the plugin using the following command:
