Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) supports plugin extensions for the web interface. Developers or users who want to customize the interface style can use this plugin.

Plugin Overview

This plugin is a theme skin for the DeepSeek Harness web interface, inspired by the color system of Kamisato Ayaka (cyan → teal → dark navy, indigo → ice blue → gold). The plugin applies a new look by overriding colors, heading fonts, and a few visual styles, without changing the page structure or layout.

Features

  • Dual color schemes: Supports light (cyan × indigo) and dark (dark indigo base × ice blue × gold) modes.
  • Font customization: Headings use Hanyi WenHei (the Genshin UI font); body text, small text, and code fonts remain unchanged.
  • Self-hosted fonts: Font files are self-hosted via the /skin-fonts route. Chromium’s rendering fallback for locally installed fonts may prevent the font from taking effect; the plugin bypasses this limitation by registering a route to serve the font files.
  • Watermark control: The bottom-right watermark is removed by default to reduce copyright risk. Users can self-host assets and enable it.

Installation and Activation

Install the plugin from the command line:

dsh plugin --profile web add git+https://github.com/Danieltoraji/dsh-skin-kamisato.git

After installation, restart the dsh web service. After restarting, visit http://127.0.0.1:3080 and perform a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) to load the new styles.

Adjustments and Maintenance

To modify the color scheme or fonts, edit the source code directly; no reinstallation is required.

  1. Modify lib/skin.css (colors, fonts, watermark);
  2. Run the build script to regenerate lib/client.js:
    powershell -File build-client.ps1
  1. Restart the dsh web service.

Because the plugin is linked into the profile dependencies via pnpm, directly editing the workspace files takes effect. However, changes to the plugin set (install/uninstall) still require restarting the service.

Notes

  • Font licensing: The plugin code is under the MIT License, but the font files require a properly licensed Hanyi WenHei to be installed on the target machine.
  • Watermark assets: The plugin package does not include watermark image resources. Users must prepare their own assets (such as kamisato-crest-wm.png) and uncomment the relevant code.
  • Service restart: Changes to the plugin set (install/uninstall) require restarting the dsh web service to take effect.

Conclusion

This plugin is fully self-contained and does not depend on any external resources. For more details, see the GitHub repository.
