Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is currently in developer preview, and the interface structure may undergo breaking changes. The plugin ecosystem follows the “everything is a plugin” philosophy, aiming to extend functionality in a modular way. In debugging or demonstration scenarios, a specific UI style is sometimes needed to assist presentation or create atmosphere.
Plugin Introduction¶
This plugin is maintained by chengwill45-bot. It is a standalone hacker terminal theme plugin for DeepSeek Harness Web UI, categorized under fun theming.
Core Features¶
- Installation and Activation: The plugin is installed as a standard DSH Bundle and automatically applies the theme after activation.
- Visual Style: Converts the interface into a terminal style with a green background and black foreground. It includes Matrix Rain (hacker rain) letters and numbers, a glassmorphic editor, HUD status bars, and scan effects.
- Font Configuration: HUD labels use Share Tech Mono, content areas use JetBrains Mono, and Chinese text automatically falls back to PingFang SC.
- Accessibility and Privacy: Supports the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem preference. On uninstallation, all injected styles, elements, listeners, observers, and timers are removed. The plugin itself does not send analytics data or initiate network requests.
Installation and Enablement¶
Install via the command line:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:chengwill45-bot/dsh-hacker-terminal-theme
After installation, restart the current dsh web process and refresh the page.
Development and Usage¶
The plugin itself has no runtime npm dependencies. Developers can use the following commands to build and test:
npm run build
npm test
npm run check
Notes¶
- Compatibility: Because DSH is in developer preview, the plugin targets the current DSH Web UI composer and layout structure.
- License: The plugin code is licensed under the MIT License; the bundled Share Tech Mono and JetBrains Mono font files follow SIL Open Font License 1.1.
- Cleanup Mechanism: After uninstalling the plugin, it does not modify conversation data or DSH configuration; it only removes injected styles and elements.
Conclusion¶
The plugin provides a low-intrusion visual theming solution for DSH through local font support and a strict cleanup mechanism. For more details, refer to the project homepage.
