Preface¶
In the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) workflow, decisions and notifications generated by agents are often buried in the conversation stream. When accessing the Harness host remotely through Tailscale or similar methods, files on the host desktop are often not visible, making it difficult to track critical status. The dsh-agent-sticky-note plugin integrates the Agent-maintained sticky note file directly into the Web GUI Settings page, solving the state visibility problem in remote scenarios.
Plugin Overview¶
This is a DeepSeek Harness plugin for displaying the Agent-maintained sticky note file in the Web GUI Settings area. It does not modify file content; it is only responsible for rendering. The default file path is ~/Desktop/DSH-便條紙.md, and the Agent is responsible for writing and maintaining it.
Core Features¶
- Sticky note style and dark mode: The interface adopts a sticky note style and supports dark mode.
- Automatic and manual refresh: When the page is opened, the content automatically refreshes every 30 seconds, and a manual refresh button is provided.
- Zero dependencies: Uses pure Node ESM and the browser React provided by the DSH module registry, with no additional dependencies.
- Security and privacy: Read-only mode, no telemetry data, and no external network calls.
Installation and Enablement¶
- Ensure that pnpm version >= 11 is installed on the host.
- Run the installation command:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-agent-sticky-note
- Restart the DSH service to load the plugin.
- Open the “Settings” page in the DSH Web GUI and find the “Sticky Note” tab.
Typical Usage¶
The Agent needs to maintain the content of the sticky note file. The Agent can use command-line tools (such as sed) to append pending decision items to the file. Example command:
sed -i "/^## ⏳ 待 Alan 決策/a - $(date +'%m-%d %H:MM') openrouter: 新版本發佈(需要:說「升級」)" ~/Desktop/DSH-便條紙.md
The plugin reads this file and renders it in the GUI, keeping the interface content synchronized in real time.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for scenarios where Agent decision progress needs to be viewed in real time from a remote Web GUI. The plugin runs with Harness process permissions, so the Agent needs write permissions to the default file path (~/Desktop/DSH-便條紙.md). Note that this is a read-only plugin, and the Agent must be responsible for the file writing and maintenance logic. The license is MIT.
Conclusion¶
By visualizing the status file, this plugin lowers the barrier to remote collaboration. Relevant directories and source code are available in the links below.
