Introduction¶
The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” During development, quickly finding and installing the right plugins can significantly improve efficiency. DSH’s official channels have not yet provided a unified plugin catalog, so developers often have to search across repositories. As part of the DSH ecosystem, dshwiki-plugin mounts an information panel in the sidebar and directly provides a curated plugin list, solving the “where to find plugins” problem.
Plugin Overview¶
This is an open-source utility plugin maintained by ai798 Lab. Its core value lies in integrating the plugin catalog into DSH workflows. It uses the dshweb profile to display content in the sidebar. The data source is dshwiki.com, so the latest list can be obtained without manual updates.
Core Features¶
- Curated catalog display: The panel lists 12 selected DeepSeek Harness plugins, covering feature descriptions, installation advice, and notes.
- One-click command copy: Click to copy the installation command, making it ready to paste directly into a terminal; complex installation commands redirect to the details page.
- Multilingual support: Built-in support for eight languages (Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Spanish, Arabic), with Arabic automatically adapting to RTL layout.
- Real-time data: Panel content is fetched in real time from dshwiki.com over HTTP requests; after the site is updated, no plugin upgrade is required to see changes.
- Theme following: The panel color scheme automatically adapts to DSH’s light and dark themes.
- Resource linking: Each record provides a link to return to dshwiki.com and view complete details.
Installation and Activation¶
This plugin requires DSH’s web profile.
- Run the installation command:
dsh plugin --profile web add dshwiki-plugin
- Restart the
dsh webservice. - Find the DSH Wiki entry at the bottom of the sidebar and click it.
Typical Usage¶
After installation and restart, open the DSH Web panel to view the catalog. Click the “Install Command” area of any plugin, and the command is automatically copied to the clipboard. When switching languages, it follows the DSH UI language by default; manual selections are stored locally. Clicking the link at the bottom of the panel redirects to dshwiki.com.
Use Cases and Considerations¶
- Profile dependency: You must use
--profile webfor installation and runtime. - DSH version: DSH is currently in developer preview, and the official docs state that APIs carry the risk of breaking changes, so the plugin must be maintained alongside DSH versions.
- Network environment: The panel relies on an internet connection to fetch dshwiki.com data; in offline environments it displays a loading failure and provides a retry button.
- Permission check: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process; it is recommended to review the source code and license before installation.
Known Issues¶
- pnpm 11 version conflict: pnpm 11 treats versions released within the past ten days as outdated. Usually
dsh plugin addautomatically adds theminimumReleaseAgeExcludefield to the profile’spnpm-workspace.yamlto allow it. If manual installation fails withERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND, manually add the configuration:
minimumReleaseAgeExclude:
- 'dshwiki-plugin'
Conclusion¶
dshwiki-plugin, integrated via the sidebar, reduces the cost of discovering DSH plugins. The data source is independent of official channels and has no direct affiliation with DeepSeek or High-Flyer. The project source code is hosted on GitHub: https://github.com/ai798-Lab/dshwiki-plugin
