Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture that allows developers to extend functionality as needed. Checking stock quotes directly within a session usually requires switching tabs or relying on external applications, which interrupts the workflow. The DSH Quote Dashboard is a real-time stock dashboard integrated into DSH sessions. It supports A-shares and US stocks, provides candlestick charts and watchlist management, and can be used immediately without configuration.
Core Features¶
The DSH Quote Dashboard mainly provides the following capabilities:
* Multi-market support: Supports A-shares and US stocks. A-shares by default show the Shanghai Composite Index (sh000001), Shenzhen Component Index (sz399001), and ChiNext Index (sz399006); US stocks by default show the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI), Nasdaq Composite (IXIC), and S&P 500 (INX).
* Candlestick chart display: Provides intraday charts, 60-minute charts, daily candles, weekly candles, and monthly candles. US stocks only support daily or longer timeframes.
* Watchlist management: Users can add or remove watchlist stocks. The list is stored in the browser’s localStorage, so the data remains after refreshing the page or restarting the browser.
* Real-time updates: Quote data is refreshed automatically. The refresh interval is 5 seconds for A-shares and 10 seconds for US stocks.
* Floating window and dragging: The panel is a floating window. You can hold the title bar and drag it to adjust its position. The position is remembered automatically.
* Desktop pet feature: The top of the dashboard provides a “Bull Alert” feature. When any security in the watchlist rises, the desktop pet interacts and provides a hint.
Installation¶
The plugin supports a one-click installation script. The installation process automatically handles dependency paths and configuration.
- Enter the DSH plugin repository directory.
- Run the installation script:
bash install.sh
On Windows, you can use the PowerShell script:
powershell -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File install.ps1
After the script finishes, restart the DSH Web service to activate the plugin.
Usage¶
- Open the DSH session page and click the 📈 Quote button on the right side of the top bar.
- In the panel, switch to the A-shares or US stocks tab.
- Enter a stock code (such as sh600519 or AAPL) in the input box, then click the Add button to add the stock to the watchlist.
- Click any row in the list to view the stock’s candlestick chart, and switch the candlestick period using the buttons.
- Hover the mouse over a list row and click the ✕ button at the end of the row to remove the stock.
- If the panel blocks content, hold the title bar and drag the panel to adjust its position.
Notes¶
- Data source: The plugin uses Tencent Finance’s free public API. The data may become unavailable due to API changes, rate limiting, or maintenance, and the panel will display error messages.
- Investment advice: The data provided by this plugin is for learning and research purposes only and does not constitute any investment advice.
- US stock limitations: Due to limitations of Tencent’s free API, intraday charts are not provided for US stocks. Only daily, weekly, and monthly candlestick charts are available.
- Data storage: The watchlist is stored in the browser’s localStorage. Clearing browser data will delete the list.
