The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin”. As more plugins are installed, manually searching for versions in the file system, checking updates, or manually enabling/disabling them becomes cumbersome. dsh-my-plugins adds a “My Plugins” tab to the “Settings → Plugins” page in DSH, providing one-click plugin installation (GitHub / Link / File / npm), centralized viewing, enable/disable management, and GitHub update checking.

Core Features

  • “My Plugins” tab: Adds a standalone tab to the “Settings → Plugins” page to centrally display the plugins installed by the user.
  • One-click installation: Supports four methods: GitHub remote installation, local Link installation, local File installation, and npm installation.
  • Batch update checking: Checks all installed plugins for available updates with one click.
  • Plugin cards: Display the plugin name, version, description, installation source, and status.
  • Search and filtering: Filter in real time by plugin name or description.
  • Enable/disable management: Disable or enable a plugin with one click.
  • GitHub update checking and immediate update: Checks upstream Releases and supports one-click updating.
  • Removal confirmation: Shows a confirmation dialog before removing a plugin to prevent accidental deletion.
  • Bilingual interface: Supports switching between Chinese and English.

Installation

Install via the official CLI:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:Ycet/dsh-my-plugins

After installation, restart dsh web for the plugin to take effect.

Usage Instructions

  1. View and search: Go to “Settings → Plugins” and switch to the “My Plugins” tab. Enter a name or description in the top search box to filter.
  2. Install a plugin: Click the “Install Plugin” button on the right side of the search box. In the dialog, select the installation method (GitHub / Link / File / npm) and enter the corresponding address, path, or package name. Click “Install”.
  3. Batch check updates: Click the “Check for Updates” button on the right side of the search box. The system checks whether all installed plugins have new versions. Plugins whose status label shows a yellow “Pending Update” have updates available.
  4. Update immediately: For plugins showing “Pending Update”, click “Update Now” on the card.
  5. Enable/disable management: Click “Disable Plugin” or “Enable Plugin” on the card. This operation modifies the configuration and requires restarting dsh web to fully take effect.
  6. Remove a plugin: Click “Remove Plugin”, then click “Confirm Removal” in the confirmation dialog. The removal operation completely uninstalls the plugin.

Notes

  • Automatic update limitations: Automatic updates are only supported for plugins from GitHub. Registry, local installation (file/), and manual patch sources do not support automatic updates.
  • Pinned reference issue: If a plugin is pinned to a Tag or Commit, branch updates cannot be checked.
  • When operations take effect: Installation, enable/disable, update, and removal operations require restarting dsh web to fully take effect.
  • Overwriting same-name installation: Installing a plugin with the same name requires confirmation.
  • Removal is uninstallation: Removal deletes the plugin dependency from the current Profile and is an irreversible operation.

Summary

dsh-my-plugins solves the decentralized plugin management problem in DSH by centralizing installation, updates, and enable/disable workflows. With one-click CLI installation and centralized Web UI management, it is suitable for developers who frequently debug or manage multiple plugins.
