Introduction

The Web interface of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) provides basic appearance configuration by default. The dsh-theme-paper plugin introduces a warm, paper-like texture to this interface, with a design language inspired by Claude Code. This is an official client plugin, registered through the platform theme service; the built-in appearance row can be restored after uninstalling it.

Core Features

  • Warm paper appearance: Uses a cream paper background (#FAF9F5), warm ink text (#3D3929), and terracotta accents (#C96442), paired with serif CJK fonts and warm-toned code blocks.
  • Appearance row replacement: Replaces the appearance options with four blocks (Light, Dark, System, and Paper).
  • Persistent selection: The Paper selection is stored in localStorage (dsh.ui-theme.paper).
  • Restore after uninstall: The built-in appearance row is restored exactly after uninstalling the plugin.

Installation

Before installing, ensure that pnpm is in your system PATH and that dsh web has been run at least once to automatically initialize the profile.

Use the following command to install:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:WuWL-98/dsh-theme-paper

This package is a profile bundle (dsh.bundle.patch) and is automatically activated after being installed into the profile. After running the command above, restart the Web interface to load the new entry.

Usage

Open Settings → General → Appearance, then click Paper to enable the theme. Click one of the other blocks to switch back to the default theme.
