Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, aiming to provide flexible extension capabilities for LLM interactions. When integrating external large models, users typically need to request and manage an API Key. If users already have an OpenAI ChatGPT subscription, authorizing via OAuth is often more direct and convenient than requesting an API Key.
Plugin Overview¶
dsh-oai-oauth is a DSH LLM adapter plugin. It enables DSH to call models directly through OpenAI ChatGPT subscription access (OAuth) without requiring an API Key. The plugin reuses local Codex CLI login credentials.
Core Features¶
- Uses an OpenAI ChatGPT subscription (OAuth) to call LLMs without an API Key.
- Reuses local Codex CLI login status (reads
~/.codex/auth.json).
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following command in the terminal to install the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-oai-oauth
After installation, start the Web interface:
dsh web
In the interface, navigate to Settings -> Models, select OpenAI ChatGPT (OAuth), and log in with your ChatGPT account.
Uninstallation¶
To remove the plugin, run:
dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-oai-oauth
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for users who already have a ChatGPT subscription and want to connect to DSH via OAuth. Since the plugin code runs with the privileges of the DSH process, it is recommended to review the source code and license (MIT) before installation.
Summary¶
With dsh-oai-oauth, DSH users can skip the cumbersome API Key request process and directly leverage their existing ChatGPT subscription. For more details, visit the GitHub repository.
