Introduction

The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin”. Currently, the community catalog and the official marketplace are independent sites. Developers usually need to access marketplace.dify.ai in an external browser to browse, search for, or install plugins. This requires frequent context switching and is not very intuitive when managing local credentials. The dsh-dify-marketplace plugin embeds the Dify Marketplace micro-front-end page into DSH’s Settings, connects to the public marketplace via HTTP APIs, and uses the official dify-plugin-daemon to handle package installation and credential management.

What is this

This is a DeepSeek Harness plugin maintained by stvlynn, categorized as a “Web Tool”. It is released under the MIT license. It is currently compatible with DSH version dsh-v0.1.0-rc.7 (specific commit 99f6f02fecdb7dff40c3fbc9470f5907c29f74ca). The plugin is delivered via Host + Web UI, embedding the Dify Marketplace UI into the local environment and using the official daemon to handle backend logic.

Core Features

The plugin provides the following core capabilities:

  1. Browsing and Search: Supports browsing and searching plugins by the categories All / Models / Tools / Data Sources / Agent Strategies / Triggers / Extensions / Bundles.
  2. Detail Display: Displays plugin collections, tags, and detailed information including credential modes.
  3. Installation Flow: Downloads .difypkg files through Marketplace download redirects and completes installation via dify-plugin-daemon.
  4. Tool Registration: After successful installation, Dify tools are registered under ctx.tools with the namespace dify__<org>__<plugin>__<tool>.
  5. Security: Credentials are stored on the Host side, and no secrets are held in the browser.

Installation and Enablement

After installation, reset the configuration and start the Web Profile.

Local installation:

dsh plugin --profile web add ./
dsh --profile web --dump-config
dsh --profile web

Install from GitHub:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:stvlynn/dsh-dify-marketplace#<40-character-commit>

Typical Usage

  1. Configure the connection: Configure the following parameters in Host Config (Cordis line):

    • marketplaceBaseUrl (defaults to https://marketplace.dify.ai)
    • daemonBaseUrl
    • daemonServerKey
    • daemonTenantId
  2. Disable the plugin: Remove the corresponding bundle line from the configuration file, or use dsh plugin to uninstall the package.

  3. Uninstall a plugin: Uninstalling an individual Dify plugin is a product flow within Settings and does not use dsh plugin remove.

Notes

  • This plugin is not an official product of DeepSeek or Dify.
  • The dsh CLI on which the plugin depends is not installed on the machine (it is only used in development environments).
  • Credential files are stored in $DSH_HOME/storages/dify-marketplace/ (the installed.json and credentials/ directory).
  • The plugin runs with the privileges of the current DSH process; review the source code and license before installation.
  • Compatibility requires DSH version dsh-v0.1.0-rc.7.

Conclusion

This plugin addresses the need to manage Dify ecosystem plugins uniformly within the DSH environment. Through local installation and Host-side credential storage, it simplifies the developer workflow. Refer to the GitHub repository for full documentation and source code.
