The core philosophy of DSH is “everything is a plugin.” When using DeepSeek Harness, developers typically need to manage plugins through terminal commands, which is not user-friendly for non-technical users or for scenarios that require frequent configuration adjustments. In addition, newly released community plugins that do not have npm keywords or GitHub topics configured are often difficult to find in existing catalogs.

dsh-plugin-market is a plugin marketplace plugin that runs inside the DSH Web interface and is maintained by user sstar16. It aims to solve the problems of difficult community plugin discovery and fragmented management, providing categorization, search, sorting, and one-click install/uninstall capabilities, turning command-line operations into graphical interface interactions.

Core Features

  • Categorization and Search: Provides category tags, sorting options (latest updated, weekly downloads, GitHub Stars, name), and full-text search functionality.
  • Provenance Verification: Each plugin card includes a provenance badge. Clicking it expands to show source link, license, author, maintainer, GitHub Stars, and other complete metadata.
  • One-click Management: Supports one-click install, uninstall, and plugin updates. Operations are executed in the background through pnpm tasks, are not interrupted by closing the settings panel, and display progress output in real time.
  • Long-tail Search: For zero-download packages without keywords or GitHub topics, it supports searching by exact package name.
  • Restart Prompt: Because DSH compositions are loaded at startup, after installing or uninstalling, the interface automatically prompts you to restart the service to apply the changes.

Installation and Activation

Before installing, ensure that dsh web is deployed in the current environment (i.e., ~/.dsh/profiles/web exists) and that pnpm is added to the system PATH.

dsh plugin --profile web add github:sstar16/dsh-plugin-market

After installation, you must restart dsh web to activate the plugin marketplace.

Typical Usage

  1. Open DSH Web’s Settings → Plugin Marketplace.
  2. Browse or search for plugins. You can filter using the category tags at the top or use the search box.
  3. Expand the Provenance block on the plugin card to view the source link and verification information.
  4. Click the Install or Uninstall button.
  5. After installation completes, a restart prompt appears in the bottom right corner of the page. If a startup script exists (default: ~/.dsh/start-dsh-web.bat), you can click “Restart Now” directly.
  6. For packages not yet indexed, enter the exact npm package name in the search box and click “Search npm directly”.

Notes

  • Restart Mechanism: DSH compositions are loaded at startup, so plugin updates or uninstalls require restarting the service to take effect.
  • Discovery Scope: Currently, catalog discovery is based on npm keywords, GitHub topics, and curated lists. Newly released packages may not be found through normal search and require an exact name search.
  • Source Code Review: Catalog entries have not been manually reviewed. The Mountable label only indicates that the package declares a mounting protocol and does not imply that the content has been reviewed. Please check the provenance information before installing.
  • Name Conflicts: Packages with the same name exist on npm (for example, dsh-plugin-market belongs to another author). Please install using the GitHub URL or the github: specification.
  • Permissions and Security: This plugin has permissions to modify the Profile and run pnpm. Please enable this plugin only in trusted environments.

This plugin visualizes the plugin management workflow and lowers the distribution barrier for community plugins. For more plugin information and source code, refer to the plugin catalog or GitHub repository.
