Preface

The core design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” As the number of plugins grows, managing configurations for skills, MCP services, LSP servers, and Agent personas becomes cumbersome. dsh-agent-plugins-market serves as a plugin marketplace and workspace, aiming to manage these capabilities in a unified way, provide a visual configuration entry point, and reuse existing community plugin layouts.

Core Capabilities

The plugin mainly provides the following features:

  • Plugin suites and layouts: Supports 10 layout sets, such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, as well as Git repositories, local directories, or archive files as sources.
  • Network adaptation: Supports selecting a download region based on the network environment (auto/global/China) and supports proxy configuration.
  • Runtime injection: After a suite is enabled, skills, slash commands, Agent personas, MCP tools (with the mcp__ prefix), hooks, and LSP are injected into the DSH session.
  • MCP bridging: Includes a built-in MCP bridge that supports stdio, Streamable HTTP with OAuth support, and SSE, and can run without a host MCP client.
  • Self-hosted LSP: Installing the plugin completes the LSP configuration, and the server can be installed in PATH.
  • Agent persona cards: Precisely stores provider, model, and reasoning effort parameters.
  • Project scope: Resources under the project directory can be read without installation.
  • Web workspace: Provides six tabs: Market, Skills, Commands, Personas, MCP, and LSP, with search and filtering support.
  • Bilingual support: UI strings follow the host language, and Issue submission is supported via GitHub CLI or a token.

Installation and Enabling

Use the official installation command to add the plugin to a specified Profile:

dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-agent-plugins-market

After installation, restart DeepSeek Harness and go to Settings → Agent Plugins Market.

Typical Usage

  1. Add a source: Add a source on the Market page, for example https://github.com/anthropics/claude-plugins-official.
  2. Manage a suite: Open a suite, review its contents, install it, and make sure it is enabled.
  3. Use a skill: Type / in chat and review the skill list in the Skills tab.
  4. Configure MCP: Add a service in the MCP services tab and resolve credential or connection notification issues.

Notes

  • Permissions and security: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Check the source code and license before enabling it.
  • MCP runtime mechanism: When the MCP bridge supports stdio and SSE modes, it can run without a host MCP client.
  • LSP automation: The LSP panel can detect and remove manually configured Profile levels and keep a backup when a conflict occurs.
  • Background updates: Background source updates are disabled by default. Enable them manually if needed.
  • Tool naming: MCP tools are registered in the format mcp__<suite>__<server>__<tool>.
  • Ecosystem context: This plugin is a community project. It has no affiliation with the official DeepSeek organization and exists only as part of the DSH ecosystem.

Summary

The plugin solves the fragmented management of plugin capabilities in DeepSeek Harness through a unified marketplace interface and workspace. It provides a complete loop from installation and configuration to runtime, supports multiple sources and protocols, and is suitable for developers who need deep integration of Agent capabilities. The project source code is available on GitHub.
